Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, and customer service excellence in our Big Rapids location. You will guide team members, coach for performance, and ensure sales goals and company standards are met with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.

Success requires 2–3 years retail experience, 1 year of management, strong communication, and the ability to mentor staff across departments while maintaining Meijer values and a positive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to achieve staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development for team members.
• Oversee P&L, achieving sales and maintaining shrink for the department.
• Model exceptional, fast and friendly customer service and maintain Meijer standards.
• Mentor and coach team members to ensure service and sales goals are exceeded.
• Ensure the team is thoroughly trained and adheres to company policies.
