Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Experience rotating through store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) is helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members and leadership.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to inform decisions.
• Ability to teach suggestive selling and mentor staff.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace.
• Completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Act as mentor and coach for all team members.
• Implement strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
• Staffing, selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Provide career development paths and promotions decisions.
• Document disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Own P&L, achieve sales, and minimize shrink.
• Ensure training is completed and standards are met.
• Promote a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
