Job summary

Oatey is seeking a production/operator role in Omaha, NE to maintain smooth operations and meet daily goals. You will handle production records, assist with changeovers, and ensure safe, compliant work practices across shifts.

The ideal candidate has strong English skills, good teamwork, and at least basic manufacturing experience. This position emphasizes continuous improvement, 6S housekeeping, and adherence to SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; safety-focused.
• Two years’ manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth flow of operations and meet daily goals.
• Complete production records and data entry (DPRs, process monitors).
• Assist with changeovers and line flushes; oversee downtime cleanup.
• Perform material handling and replenish materials as needed.
• Audit work areas for SOP compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Inspect quality and maintain records; train new/temporary associates.
• Participate in CIP lean events and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and sustain 6S housekeeping.
