Job summary

Oatey is seeking a production-focused professional to maintain a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Omaha, NE. The role involves coordinating resources, line changeovers, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met daily.

Responsibilities include training new associates, conducting quality inspections, and driving continuous improvement through Lean initiatives. A High School Diploma is required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• . English fluency with ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and procedures.
• . Prior manufacturing/distribution experience required with two years’ experience in the department for in-depth product knowledge.
• . High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth flow of operations by organizing resources (materials and operators) and workflow.
• Assist with changeovers and line flushes; oversee downtime cleanup activities.
• Perform material handling and verify raw materials per BOM/DPR.
• Audit areas for SOP compliance and product conformance with documentation.
• Provide training for new and temporary associates on safety, quality and productivity.
• Participate in CIP and Lean events to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; sustain 6S housekeeping and standard work.
