Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Team Leader I for the Second Shift in Omaha, NE. You will organize resources, start-up activities, and workflow to ensure safety, quality and productivity daily. Coordinate with the team and assist with line changes, downtime cleanup, and material replenishment.

You will monitor production records, perform quality inspections, and provide on-the-job training to new associates while supporting LEAN events and 6S standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of manufacturing/distribution experience in the department preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and DPRs and to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth flow of operations by organizing resources and start-up activities to meet daily goals.
• Assist with changeovers, line flushes, downtime clean-up and material handling within the department.
• Achieve production goals and report performance, downtime, and reassignments to the supervisor.
• Train new or temporary associates on safety, quality and productivity tasks.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and participate in LEAN events and 6S housekeeping.
