Job summary

CAVA in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Team Leader to bring our mission of hospitality to life on the restaurant floor. You'll lead daily team priorities, support GMs and AGM, and help create a positive work environment while ensuring timely food orders and guest satisfaction.

This role emphasizes training, delegation, and adherence to safety standards. You’ll coach Team Members, oversee opening and closing duties, inventory, and cash handling, and collaborate across teams to uphold our quality

Qualifications

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food.
• Coach, develop, and support cross training of Team Members as our business grows.
• Open and close responsibilities, placing food orders, conducting inventory, and cash handling as needed.
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards.
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise.
• Supports deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened levels of service interactions with guests, as well as prompt presentation of food orders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Assistant General Managers and General Managers to deliver on guest commitments.
• Delegate routines and important tasks to ensure standards are met and training is provided.
