Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Team Lead to support a manufacturing line, ensuring safe, standardized operations while developing people. You will oversee a small team of operators, ensure standard work adherence, and drive improvements.

You will train and certify staff, maintain Training Matrix, run equipment, and handle escalations with Tier 2. Overtime may be required; shifts run Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience.
• Read and write English.
• Demonstrate Winning Behaviors; clear and calm communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Train and certify employees.
• Maintain Training Matrix of Cell(s).
• Ensure adherence to standard work (JOBS).
• Lead 5 Why Problem Solving and team huddles.
• Handover to the next shift TL and escalate unresolved issues.
• Run assembly equipment on the line.
