Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. is seeking to lead and coordinate comprehensive training initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on building bootcamp programs, onboarding new hires, and tracking progress across 30/60/90 day milestones. Responsibilities include collaborating with HR for retention improvements, maintaining a detailed training calendar, and owning the Alchemy Training Software while developing content for ongoing training and recertification by job class

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent is required.
Minimum of six years of related experience.
Experience developing and coordinating training programs.

Responsibilities

Create a bootcamp training (theory and hands‑on) starting with Mount and Wire and Coils Brazing.
Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires and temporary employees.
Track 30‑60‑90 day training completion and monitor new employee progress.
Collaborate with HR and operations to improve retention by identifying training gaps and increasing engagement.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar and own Alchemy Training Software.
Develop content for training and recertification by job class and area.
Track individual performance and maintain an up‑to‑date skill matrix for the plant.
Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.
Supervise operations trainers within a manufacturing environment.
