Job summary

Jobtailor in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Air Import Supervisor to lead daily operations for the air import team and coordinate with airlines, brokers, and service providers. You will ensure timely cargo delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on experience with air cargo logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is required.
• Prior experience in air imports.
• Supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with leading air cargo logistics software and systems.
• Familiarity with air freight regulations, customs requirements, and import controls.
• Knowledge of airline routes and schedules.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
