Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive Air Import Coordinator in Nashville to manage import shipments from origin to final destination. You will handle customs clearance, documentation, and coordination with airlines and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have experience in air imports, strong organizational and communication skills, and a detail-oriented mindset to navigate regulations and trade laws while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
Experience in air imports is highly desirable
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as costs and rates
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
Understanding of trade laws and regulations
Fluency in English is required
Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred
