Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a logistics specialist to coordinate air export shipments, prepare customs documentation, and monitor shipments from submission to delivery. You will maintain customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time, compliant service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of air freight, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing movement through transportation channels.
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Track and monitor shipments, provide regular updates to customers on status.
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure timely service delivery.

Job description

• Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including scheduling with airlines and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Prepare and process required documentation for customs clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments
• Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in Freight Forwarding is highly desirable
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations
• Fluency in English is required
