Job summary

Paxon in Avon, IN, is seeking a Team Lead for the Fulfillment Center. The role focuses on supervising and coordinating daily workflow, training associates, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with the Supervisor to meet customer requirements, drive process improvements, and maintain adherence to SOPs. Regular day shift with occasional extra hours and travel not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
• Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptability.
• Proven project implementations with demonstrated process improvement.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to push or pull carts of up to 100 lbs.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize work; train associates; assign and direct work; in partnership with the Supervisor or Manager, addressing issues and resolving problems.
• Train associates on processes
• Assist the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Assist the Supervisor and other Staff to ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Ensure the safety and security of associates and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures.
• Monitor associate production standards and partner with Supervisor to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Perform all functions same as a fulfillment associate.
• Meet or exceed company standards on attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety, and security.
• May be required to complete other duties as assigned.

Role Summary

The Fulfillment Team Lead at Paxon carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Leads assist the Supervisor in attaining overall department goals. Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. Must be available for additional hours as needed.
