Job summary

Paxon, part of the Radial distribution network, is seeking a 2nd Shift Team Lead to supervise and optimize fulfillment workflows. You will guide associates, train staff, and coordinate with the Supervisor to meet customer requirements and uphold safety and compliance in daily operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and adherence to SOPs while promoting teamwork and efficient shift execution in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct experience in a distribution or fulfillment operations environment.
• Experience motivating and leading a team.
• Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, resourceful and adaptable.
• Proven project implementations with demonstrated process improvement.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize work; train associates; assign and direct work; address issues with Supervisor or Manager.
• Train associates on processes.
• Assist the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Ensure the safety and security of associates and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures.
• Monitor production standards and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Perform all functions as a fulfillment associate.
• Meet or exceed attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety, and security standards.
• May be required to complete other duties as assigned.

Role Summary

The Distribution Team Lead at Paxon carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Leads and assists the Supervisor in attaining overall department goals and effectively planning and organizing workflow, promoting teamwork, training, problem solving, decision making, and performs all functions as a fulfillment associate.

Responsibilities

• Tasks include planning/organizing work; training associates; assigning and directing work; in partnership with the Supervisor or Manager, addressing issues and resolving problems.
• Train associates on processes
• Assist the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Assist the Supervisor and other Staff to ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and guidelines.
• Ensure the safety and security of associates and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures.
• Monitor associate production standards and partner with Supervisor to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Perform all functions same as a fulfillment associate.
• Meet or exceed company standards on attendance, punctuality, conduct, safety, and security.
• May be required to complete other duties as assigned.
