Job summary

XPO is seeking an experienced Team Driver to operate as part of an existing sleeper-tractor team, with home weekly from LaSalle, IL. You'll run five days on and two off, partnering with another driver on extended routes and meeting DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be part of an existing team; both team members must apply.
• Able to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
• Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off and work with fellow XPO employees.
• Navigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate various tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Operate all internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
