Job summary

The Sioux Falls Skyforce is seeking a Team Attendant to support game operations, including locker room setup, equipment handling, and coordinating supplies for practices and travel. You will assist coaching staff and players, ensuring cleanliness and organization across team facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Knowledge of guest services principles and practices in professional sports/venue operations.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping standards for large venues.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to team members by managing locker room setup, organization, and maintenance before, during, and after games and practices.
• Coordinate and distribute team equipment, uniforms, and supplies to ensure players and coaching staff have all necessary items readily available.
• Assist with pregame and postgame preparation of the locker room, including arranging player stations, refreshments, and personal items according to established standards.
• Launder, organize, and maintain all team uniforms, practice gear, towels, and related apparel in a timely and efficient manner.
• Facilitate the transport and setup of equipment and supplies for games, practices, and team travel as directed by equipment and operations staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all team areas, including locker rooms, training facilities, and storage spaces throughout the venue.
• Respond promptly to requests from players, coaches, and team staff to support daily operations and ensure a professional environment.
• Assist with packing, shipping, and inventory management of team equipment and supplies for road trips and special events.

The Sioux Falls Skyforce Game Operations department is hiring a Team Attendant! This role will assist the coaching and support staff with day-to-day operations, including but not limited to equipment, practice, meals, individual workouts, and serving as a liaison for visiting teams in-market. We are seeking experienced individuals in team operations who demonstrate a strong work ethic and can handle critical responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Provide direct support to team members by managing locker room setup, organization, and maintenance before, during, and after games and practices

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of guest services principles and practices within professional sports and entertainment venue operations. Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping standards applicable to large-scale public assembly facilities. Knowledge of workplace safety practices and procedures relevant to event venue operations.
