The role guides new teachers, mentors peers, and supports district-wide curriculum initiatives through classroom coaching and cutting-edge instructional strategies.

The position emphasizes bridging county initiatives with school practice, offers mentorship responsibilities, and requires active participation in leadership activities

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Proven experience serving on a school leadership team.
• Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn mentor certification upon hire.
• Attend all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the school leadership team to shape academic vision, culture, and goals.
• Act as a liaison between administration and instructional staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide direction for county curriculum initiatives and ensure alignment with district goals.
• Attend all mandated innovative teacher trainings and professional development workshops.
• Mentor new and developing educators and provide instructional coaching and peer observations.
• Model advanced instructional strategies including technology integration, data-driven differentiation, and student-centered learning.
