This role blends classroom excellence with school-wide leadership, mentoring new teachers and guiding county curriculum initiatives for district-wide gains.

In addition to classroom duties, the incumbent will bridge county and school-level implementation by mentoring peers, offering instructional coaching, piloting new strategies, and modeling

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom teaching.
• Leadership Track Record: Experience serving on a school leadership team or equivalent.
• Certification: Valid State Teaching Certification.
• Mentorship Credential: Current Certified Mentor status or commitment to earn.
• Growth Mindset: Attend all 10 specialized innovative teacher trainings; after-hours sessions required.

Responsibilities

• Serve actively on the school leadership team to shape academic vision, culture, and goals.
• Act as liaison between administration and staff to champion innovative practices.
• Provide input for county curriculum initiatives aligned with district goals.
• Attend all 10 mandated innovative teacher trainings and professional development workshops.
• Translate district curriculum changes into actionable classroom strategies for peers.
• Serve as certified mentor to guide new educators.
• Offer instructional coaching, co-teaching opportunities, and peer observations.
• Model advanced instructional strategies including technology integration and data-driven differentiation.
