Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a physician to conduct Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Compensation & Pension evaluations. You will review Veterans' medical records and complete VA questionnaires, focusing on objective findings and detailed reporting.

Requirements include MD or DO with board certification in Neurology, Psychiatry, or PM&R, and an active, unrestricted license. Strong assessment and documentation skills are essential to ensure VA/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Neurology, Psychiatry, or PM&R.
• Active, unrestricted license in the practicing state.
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive TBI C&P examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical records, imaging, and supporting documentation.
• Assess cognitive, emotional, behavioral, neurological, and physical residuals.
• Complete VA DBQs accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare timely, objective medical reports.
• Maintain compliance with VA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams for timely submissions.
