Job summary

Paylocity seeks a Senior Manager for Tax Technology & Process Transformation to lead strategy, design, and implementation of tax tech solutions and end-to-end tax operations modernization. You will collaborate with Tax, Operations, Compliance, Product, Finance and Technology to automate and standardize processes.

The role reports to the Director, Tax Operations and builds a multi-year roadmap to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability while reducing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related fields.
• 8+ years leading tax operations and transformation initiatives.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional programs and teams.
• Experience with tax technology ecosystems and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the tax technology and process transformation strategy.
• Maintain a multi-year roadmap prioritizing automation and process improvements.
• Evaluate AI capabilities, workflow platforms, and automation tools for tax ops.
• Define future-state operating models and solution architectures.
• Lead end-to-end redesign of tax processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Drive standardization across tax operations and reduce complexity.
• Oversee implementation of tax tech platforms and automation tools.
• Manage a portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives and risks.
• Define objectives, milestones, and adoption strategies.
• Lead organizational change, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team.
