EY seeks a seasoned tax technology and transformation professional to help client tax departments optimize processes and leverage technology for indirect tax effectiveness. You will lead engagements, coordinate technical resources, and deliver automated tax solutions that align with business goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, functional leadership, and the ability to navigate complex tax rules while driving digital transformation in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Indirect tax experience and/or corporate indirect tax compliance preferred
• Excellent managerial and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• Undergrad in accounting with related work experience; CPA path encouraged
• Experience with indirect tax software: Vertex/ONESOURCE/Avalara
• ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle; procurement tools like Ariba/Coupa

Responsibilities

• Help client tax departments operate at peak efficiency and productivity
• Transfer control of tax decision-making to client tax specialists
• Define solution scope, coordinate resources, deliver finished products that meet client goals
• Lead a team, mentor counselees and manage client-facing work
• Document current tax processes and controls to identify improvements
• Support development of business cases and data analytics for indirect tax
