Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience in payroll tax or tax operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership in a high-volume environment.
• Experience leading process improvement and operational transformation efforts.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax operations and regulatory impacts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Tax Operations functions against service levels, quality standards, and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to implement organizational priorities and initiatives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and client success.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of leads and tax professionals.
• Monitor metrics like productivity, quality, turnaround times, service levels, and client-impact indicators.
• Lead root cause analyses for recurring defects and client-impacting issues.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce risk.
• Recommend automation, technology enhancements, and workflow improvements.
• Escalate complex client issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Client Services, and Operations on Tax Ops initiatives.
