Paylocity in Rochester, NY or Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Manager, Tax Operations to lead a tax operations team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll tax services. This role drives operational excellence through performance management and process improvements, reporting to Tax Operations leadership.

The position reports across Tax Filing, Notices, Amendments, Customer Care, Product, Compliance, and other teams to scale operations and enhance client service.

Formación

• 5+ years of operational leadership in payroll tax or tax operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership in a high-volume environment.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational transformation.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax operations and compliance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead through change and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day payroll tax operations and ensure SLA, quality, and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to implement organizational priorities.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and client success.
• Coach and develop a team of tax professionals.
• Monitor metrics like productivity, quality, turnaround times.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Client Services, and Ops on initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Forecast staffing and allocate resources.
