Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational leadership in payroll tax, tax operations, compliance, or related environments.
• 3+ years of people leadership in high-volume operations.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives and operational transformation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax operations and regulatory impacts preferred.
• Proficiency with data to drive decisions and performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Tax Operations functions ensuring SLA, quality, and compliance.
• Partner with leadership to implement organizational priorities and initiatives.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and client-focused culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of leads and tax professionals.
• Monitor key metrics: productivity, quality, turnaround, service levels, client impact.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring defects and client-impacting issues.
• Develop corrective actions to improve quality and efficiency.
• Support automation and workflow improvements; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other teams on initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Plan staffing and capacity with senior leadership.
