Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Core Tax Services Senior Manager to advise clients on tax implications, evaluate actions to reduce taxes and compliance costs, and lead complex tax issues. You will communicate risks, guide filing and resolutions with federal/state agencies, and play a key role in leadership and business development within your area of expertise.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of prior relevant tax experience and/or public accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred.
• CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) required.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to delegate and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on tax implications of business objections and compliance requirements.
• Reviews tax provisions and ASC 740-related activities; coordinates with specialists as needed.
• Develops and implements tax strategies to maximize client benefits and reduce taxes while managing risk.
