Job summary

Straive is hiring a Customer Service Associate (Tax) for a 3-4 month contract to support tax software clients globally.

The role involves handling phone, email, and chat inquiries, troubleshooting issues, documenting interactions, and cross-training on products and systems. A strong background in business/finance and familiarity with Salesforce or tax software is preferred. The environment is fast-paced and requires multitasking.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree/2 years of college in a business-related field or relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or sales/CRM.
• Background in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Tax preparation or accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce and tax software is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer support or help desk experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support through phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues when required.
• Document customer interactions and recurring resolutions.
• Cross-train on products and systems.
• Participate in product testing and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and product information.
