Straive is hiring a Junior Tax Associate for a 3-4 month contract, supporting tax software clients via phone, email, and chat in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or 2 years of business-related studies, or relevant accounting/CRM experience, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Background in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Tax or accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with CCH tax & accounting software preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

The Customer Service Associate will support business and individual tax software clients by handling phone, email, and chat inquiries related to moderate to complex system and content issues.

• Provide customer support through phone, email, and chat
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and elevate issues when required
• Document customer interactions and recurring resolutions
• Cross-train on products and systems
• Participate in product testing and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and product information

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree/2 years of college in a business-related field, or relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or sales/CRM
• Background in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
• Tax preparation or accounting experience is a plus
• Experience with CCH tax & accounting software is preferred
• Customer support/help desk experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
