Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager to join our office and deliver tax and advisory services to small business clients. You will work closely with firm leadership to serve clients, coach staff, and help grow the practice while maintaining exceptional service.

You will be part of a fast-growing firm with upward trajectory, flexibility, and meaningful client relationships across various industries. CPA or JD and strong tax expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or JD encouraged.
• Five+ years of federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience and mentoring.
• Strong management, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and firm software.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients.
• Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and financials compilation.
• Review client records, discuss findings and recommendations.
• Lead engagements and improve processes for efficiency.
• Develop client relationships and manage staffing and billing.
