Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a professional services firm.
• CPA or JD required (preferred).
• Ability to lead and supervise others and mentor staff.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to middle-market to multinational clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters and manage engagement profitability.
• Consult on technical matters in corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC 740, and related areas.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with actionable recommendations for clients.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, R&D, credits and incentives.
