Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in tax compliance and consulting for high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years in tax compliance, including complex individual and business returns; recent public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and manage multiple engagements with visibility into deadlines and deliverables.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high-net-worth families across federal, state, and local returns.
• Review complex tax returns for accuracy and minimize rework; identify recurring issues for improvement.
• Serve as primary client contact, offering proactive tax planning insights and supporting meetings.
• Monitor budgets, realization, and staffing; mitigate margin risks and scope creep.
• Foster client relationships and promote accountability across the engagement team.
• Provide coaching, training and performance feedback; support recruiting and onboarding.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Participate in business development, proposals, and expanding client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and ensure high-quality service delivery across the firm.
