Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Senior Manager for the Private Client Services team to oversee UHNW taxation, drive planning, and improve client service quality. This role supports flexible office location or full remote work and requires seasoned leadership with a focus on business development.

You will mentor staff, manage complex returns, and ensure compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions while upholding firm standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience for high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years in tax compliance, specializing in complex returns.
• Recent public accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team and manage client relationships with Partners in an entrepreneurial, service-oriented environment.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families; ensure timely, accurate federal/state/local returns.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment and trusts/estates/gifts and charitable entities.
• Lead primary reviews of complex tax returns for technical accuracy and proper documentation.
• Provide proactive tax planning insights to clients and support meetings and presentations.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization; identify margin risks and improve profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders; promote accountability across the engagement team.
• Coach and develop staff; support recruiting, onboarding and performance evaluation.
• Leverage tax technology and data tools to enhance delivery, quality, and scalability.
• Participate in business development to identify opportunities and expand client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm for high-quality delivery.
