Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks motivated individuals for TurboTax Local Service Expert roles at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will perform full-service tax return preparation and provide expert tax advice while collaborating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. You’ll help grow the local client base, organize community events, and deliver a seamless end-to-end Intuit experience, both in person and with online tools.

Qualifications

• Must have EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development; uniforms and advertising use required.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; bilingual skills a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and plan taxes.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services within the Intuit ecosystem.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in person and via TurboTax tools.
