Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to support customers at our California TurboTax retail locations. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer financial guidance, and represent TurboTax in the community as a trusted advisor.

In this on-site role, you’ll work 20+ hours per week, including weekends, using professional tax software and Intuit tools. A licensed status (EA/CPA/attorney) and tax prep experience are required, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040s per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/location, Sunday through Saturday, at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and as the public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long‑term clients through proactive outreach.
• Lead and participate in local marketing efforts to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Provide tax expertise by giving hands-on advice and preparing taxes for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and plan future taxes.
• Use government resources, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in clients’ financial goals.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit's video tools; address inquiries and help overcome tax-related challenges.
