Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States, serving in-person customers with tax expertise and software support, building a local client base and trusted relationships.

As a Retail Expert, you’ll deliver hands-on tax preparation, planning, and advice, help customers maximize refunds, and grow the local TurboTax community through outreach and personalized service.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience.
• PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses, certificates, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid tax prep experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040s per season.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Onsite at TurboTax location, 20+ hours/week, weekends possible.
• Willing to build local social presence in line with Intuit policies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail.

Responsibilities

• Represent TurboTax locally as a community fixture and engage prospects.
• Lead local outreach, nurture leads, and convert to long-term clients.
• Collaborate on local marketing and make taxes approachable.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for customers.
• Uncover deductions, plan ahead, and maximize refunds with guidance.
• Use government sites and tools to deliver accurate solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build trust.
• Interact in-person and via TurboTax video tools.
• Address inquiries and help clients overcome tax challenges.
