Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, and software support for in-person customers, aiming to grow the local client base and foster lasting relationships. You will be a proactive community ambassador, engaging with prospects, delivering tax education, and partnering with marketing to make taxes approachable in your area.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be willing to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador representing TurboTax locally and as a public face in the community.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate with TurboTax in local marketing to make taxes accessible.
• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Utilize government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in everyday language.
• Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism and genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals.
• Connect with people to build long-term trust and transform transactions into loyal relationships.
• Interact with customers in-person and via Intuit’s video tools.
• Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.
