Job summary

You should have a high school diploma, solid reading and math skills, good communication, and familiarity with Windows-based programs. The role emphasizes delivering superior service and performing bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Strong communication skills for in-person and phone interactions.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.
• Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
