Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is hiring an entry-level team member to assist during tax interviews and help finalize returns. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program, assemble the tax return, obtain signatures, and review the completed product with the client.

You will also perform bookkeeping procedures, ensure high-quality service, and adapt to state or local requirements as needed. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Effective communication in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assemble the tax return and obtain signatures.
• Review the finished product with the client and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
