Software Placement Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Tax Manager to own the income tax function. You will lead the quarterly and annual ASC 740 provision, oversee federal and state returns, and coach a team of tax accountants.

The role requires 6+ years of tax experience, strong tax knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. On-site, full-time position based in Phoenix with opportunities to optimize processes and controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate environment
• Strong federal, state, and local tax knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Sharp organizational and analytical skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Motivated, take-charge attitude

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop tax accountants through coaching, supervision, and feedback
• Own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision
• Oversee federal and state income tax return calculations and filings
• Review FIN 48 and UNICAP positions
• Respond to notices and inquiries from taxing authorities
• Work directly with internal and external auditors
• Research and deliver tax information requested by management and outside parties
• Support related areas as needed including sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, and incentives
• Map, document, and re-engineer tax processes to improve efficiency, controls, and metrics
