The Keystone Distinction Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to own the income tax function, lead the tax provision process, and manage return preparation with internal staff and external preparers.

You will coach a team of tax accountants, improve tax processes, controls, and metrics, and collaborate with auditors and management on tax strategy and compliance. ASC 740 experience is valued.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or a corporate environment.
• Strong federal, state, and local tax knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Sharp organizational and analytical skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A motivated, take-charge attitude.
• Plus: CPA, Master's in Taxation, or experience in manufacturing, retail, insurance, or mortgage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop tax accountants through coaching, supervision, and feedback.
• Own the quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision.
• Oversee federal and state income tax return calculations and filings.
• Review FIN 48 and UNICAP positions.
• Respond to notices and inquiries from taxing authorities.
• Work directly with internal and external auditors.
• Research and deliver tax information requested by management and outside parties.
• Support related areas as needed, including sales tax, property tax, payroll tax, and incentives.
• Map, document, and re-engineer tax processes to improve efficiency, controls, and metrics.
