Job summary

Intuit in the United States seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to help customers navigate their tax needs at new TurboTax locations. You will provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns, while building a local client base.

You’ll act as a community ambassador, organize events, and connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning. Onsite hours 8–5, 20 hours weekly, with training and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or business tax advisory with training provided.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Must complete required training (compliance, up-skilling, cross-training) as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Lead local outreach to build a new customer base through grass-roots marketing, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Serve as the local face of TurboTax and connect clients with Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools, addressing client inquiries.
