Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts for locations across the United States. Provide tax advice, complete preparations, and deliver personalized services while building a new local client base.

You’ll engage with the community, promote Intuit solutions, and help clients achieve favorable financial outcomes. Onsite roles require 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, about 20 hours weekly, with training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax prep experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Must be willing to complete training and development as determined by the business, with potential additional requirements.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may be featured in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Advise on future tax planning using government resources and professional tools.
• Build and grow a local customer base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Be the local face of TurboTax and drive brand awareness through events and networking.
• Introduce clients to additional Intuit solutions like bookkeeping or payroll when relevant.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and respond to inquiries in person or via video tools.
