Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks talented TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax advice, prepare returns, and connect clients with a broader Intuit team offering bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.

You will act as a community ambassador, grow the local client base, and deliver an exceptional customer experience through in-person and video interactions, while adhering to Intuit’s standards.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and planning.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a new local customer base, organize local events, and drive community engagement with support from marketing tools.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or other Intuit solutions.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and ongoing client relationships.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional, helpful service in person and via video tools, aiding clients to meet financial goals.
