Job summary

Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver in-person and virtual tax services at a local TurboTax location. You will perform full-service tax preparation, advise clients, and connect them with Intuit’s broader ecosystem, including bookkeeping and financial planning, while cultivating local relationships.

The role emphasizes on-site service, community engagement, and growth of the local client base, with a strong emphasis on customer experience and cross-selling.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours per week minimum.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with specialists to deliver end-to-endIntuit services when needed.
• Build long-term relationships by offering year-round support and referrals to related services.
