Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for clients at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will work onsite, collaborating with specialists and engaging the local community to expand TurboTax’s client base, while delivering personalized, high-quality service. You will help clients navigate complex tax scenarios, from W‑2 filings to business income, and contribute to a broader ecosystem of Intuit solutions including

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Mon-Fri, ≥20 hours/week
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising using your name/photo
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Identify and maximize deductions, minimize tax liabilities, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Collaborate with a team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Grow TurboTax client base through local outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit video tools.
