Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Compliance Services Associate in the United States to coordinate data workflows, ensure timely regulatory submissions, and help clients maximize our tax software. You’ll map, import, print, and transmit data while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

You will train clients, document requirements, and look for process improvements. A background check and drug test are part of the hire process, with competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on listening and documenting client needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Open to using AI-assisted workflows and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks within the application on behalf of clients, including mapping and importing data, creating print files, and generating transmittal files.
• Adhere to client deadlines to ensure regulatory requirements are met on time and accurately.
• Import and reconcile data based on client needs, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Document client-specific requirements clearly to maintain continuity and quality of service.
• Provide training to clients to help them navigate the software solution effectively.
• Submit remittances to federal and state agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify process improvements and suggest efficiencies to strengthen internal workflows and reduce risk.
