Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Compliance Services Associate to help clients navigate tax compliance using our software. You will coordinate data workflows, import data, generate transmittal files, and ensure timely regulatory submissions, building a solid foundation for a career in tax technology.

You'll work with Excel and AI-enabled workflows, train clients, and identify process improvements to reduce risk while delivering accurate results in a fast-changing regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong customer service skills with listening and documenting client needs.
• Clear written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness to use AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.
• Background check and drug test will be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data workflows, map/import data, create print files, and generate transmittal files.
• Adhere to client deadlines to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Import and reconcile data based on client needs for accuracy.
• Document client-specific requirements to maintain continuity of service.
• Provide training to clients on our software solution.
• Submit remittances to federal and state agencies on time.
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to reduce risk.
