Sovos is seeking an Operations Associate to become a trusted resource for our clients, coordinating data workflows, ensuring timely regulatory submissions, and helping clients maximize the value of our software across tax technology implementations.

You will engage in data mapping/imports, file generation, and remittance submissions while maintaining high accuracy and regulatory compliance. A strong Excel and customer service background, with effective communication, is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data handling.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to document client needs.
• Clear written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks within client applications, including data mapping/imports and generating print/transmittal files.
• Meet client deadlines to ensure regulatory requirements are met on time.
• Import and reconcile data as needed for accuracy and completeness.
• Document client-specific requirements to maintain service continuity.
• Provide training to clients on the software solution.
• Submit remittances to federal and state agencies timely and accurately.
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI tools to strengthen workflows and reduce risk.
