Job summary

Automatic Data Processing is seeking a Client Service & Product Support Specialist - Tax to provide high-quality tax service to ADP clients. You will handle tax deposits and filing, and serve as the front line for resolving client questions via phone, email, or chat.

This role rewards adaptability, empathy, organization, and integrity in a metrics-driven environment. You’ll be expected to be the tax expert, solve problems, and educate clients while building trusted relationships.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in client service or call center (insurance/financial exp) preferred
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong analytical/time‑management skills
• Bonus: three+ years of Payroll Tax experience
• College degree or equivalent experience including military experience

Responsibilities

• Be the Tax Expert – assist clients with tax deposits and filing, and manage inquiries from state and federal agencies.
• Be a Trusted Advisor and Problem Solver – use a breadth of expertise to help ADP’s clients solve problems, taking a broad perspective to resolve issues and provide solutions.
• Build Relationships – engage clients by phone, email, and/or chat, striving to exceed client expectations in every interaction. Hold yourself to the highest ethical standards and live ADP’s core value of “Integrity is Everything.”
• Educate – leverage ADP product & services knowledge to provide solutions, guide clients, and turn input into recommendations for ADP leadership on best practices and training.
• Demonstrate Client Focus – focus on client satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving payroll and tax issues in a timely and professional manner
