Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert tax advice, and software support to both in-person and virtual clients.

You will grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach, community events, and partnerships while collaborating with specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions. A strong emphasis on customer service and integrity guides daily work.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name for advertising
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients to bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning where appropriate
• Build relationships and trust with clients to convert a one-time engagement into long-term partnerships
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and clear guidance
