Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide on-site and virtual tax services from a designated TurboTax location in the United States.

You will deliver full-service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while collaborating with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and planning to serve each client end-to-end. The role emphasizes community growth, local client relationships, and a hands-on, customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA or attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00, Monday–Friday, minimum 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise – hands-on advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, simple to complex scenarios.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador – grow local client base and engage with community.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem – connect clients to bookkeeping, payroll, planning and Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships – develop long-term trust and repeat business.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience – ensure client goals and questions are addressed.
