Job summary

Intuit Inc. seeks experienced TurboTax Local Service Experts to prepare taxes and provide expert guidance in on-site TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end services, from planning to filing, while building local client relationships. The role emphasizes community engagement, cross-selling within the Intuit ecosystem, and on-site collaboration with specialists for holistic financial solutions.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office 20+ hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time.
• Must complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms; may be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Serve as a local ambassador, growing the client base and building relationships.
• Coordinate with specialists for full-service offerings (bookkeeping, payroll, planning).
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience and use marketing tools to drive loyalty.
• Engage in community events and create accessible tax-related content.
